As I walk from London to Rome, this blog will be the record of my progress. I hope you will be able to join me along the way; to laugh with me, to cry with me and enjoy with me as I embark on a 1400 mile journey to the heart of the Vatican City. What adventures lie ahead.....

"LIKE A TRAMP LIKE A PILGRIM"
"Like a Tramp, Like a Pilgrim", the story of my 1,411 mile journey from London to Rome in the summer of 2012 will be published by Bloomsbury in the summer of 2014.
Congratulations on the publication of your book, which Robin Baird-Smith kindly gave to me. It is written in a very entertaining style and I am enjoying it.
Robin spoke to you about doing an interview for The Catholic Herald with me. We would love to carry an interview with you.
No time like the present, would you be free in the coming week, say Tues July 29 or Wed July 30? I am based in South Kensington.
Would you be so kind as to e-mail me on maryoregan1000@googlemail.com and we'll go from there.
I am hoping to try this again from Lent. Last time I got so distracted in the Somme that I got no further than Bapaume as I headed to Albert and that environment for Thiepval and the rain made me struggle to cope and made me reflect on the torture of the Western Front ...
Dear Harry, if I may, I am Richard Fremantle's youngest first cousin, a mere 63, and wanted to tell you that Richard Fremantle died 13 November 2018, a few days ago. The family have are thinking of asking an obituarist to write something about him for the Press, i wonder if you might have some memories about him? kind regards, Peter de Loriol, Email: pdeloriol@aol.com
